Justsouno,
you are very kind.  Thanks for your words of encouragement.  I am thankful they happened my way and that I was able to reunite them with their mother.

Oh my goodness I hold on to my little grandson when we are in
a store until he looks at me and says, " Gangan I can walk all by myself." Seriously I love to give him room but in a crowded place he will not get out of my sight. I can't believe a mom let a little 18month old or a 4 year old go wandering. Anything can happen. Forgive me for being a raving loon on your comments page. Thank God for people like you. That is, I suspect  why you wound up getting them. God works out things in the most unusual ways.

Interesting obs, Passionflower,

but I disagree.  My last two blogs contained reference to sugar.  Beyond that -- here and there perhaps but nothing significant.  Wouldn't you give two lost children a cookie if you were trying to keep them still while hunting for a parent?

My downfall is chocolate . . . but this morning I ate my usual healthy breakfast of low fat plain yogurt with flax seed and almonds.  No added sugar.

Thanks for commenting.

JanesO - Couldn't you have given them a bath, dressed them temporarily in some hospital gowns, washed and dried their clothes, combed their hair and read them stories while you were giving the blood.   Nurses are supposed to be miracle workers.

You must be a sugar addict.
Your blogs always contain some mention of sweets. Good job though, of finding a nice home for the lost children.
