Hey sweetie, hold your head high. You're not a lassie now but a mum and
while you keep your eyes on them, the Lord has his eyes on you. He will send you a fine man one day when and where you least expect it. Be blessed.

Symph, Chin
up, old girl, as your compatriots like to say. You have: youth, intelligence, beauty, and talent going for you.

The curse of motherhood

Symph, one of the biggest mistakes a mother can make in my opinion is to think that "me" time is not important. Children NEED to know that they are loved, important, the love of your life, wonderful, all those things....but they also need to learn, from the earliest age..........to share. And that means sharing their Mum, with her friends, with her quiet time to herself, with whatever she wants to make her a well rounded person.

So please don't feel guilty if you say to your little ones......"it's time for me".

Remember that great Canadian saying "If Mum ain't happy.....ain't NOBODY happy" !

Take care Symph

One way to welcome good luck and have a change of tides is to think positive, think good luck, daily. Its a matter of mental confidence.
Your name should be Lucky-Symphony.

Hey Nymphy Girl..

Sometimes taking ME time is a valid way to retain sanity. Without it you tend to forget who you are. I'm glad to hear that things with your sister has taken a step in the right direction. I have an email I'm working on for you and I'll send it soon... Great big hugs to you!

I can totally relate...

Just let yourself go through think funk, sometimes I think we need to go through that.  Being a mom is tough, and sometimes you have to pity yourself a bit.

If it makes you feel better, I haven't left home without a kid in four years.  Seriously.  I haven't slept without a child in my bed in four years.  Literally.  Believe me, I feel your pain.

SYMPHONY,
I am glad that when I get like this, I only have myself to worry about, and not have the responsibility of children.  I have no answers, just a hug.

Symphony.
Sweetie - you are a Mom. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to chuck this whole motherhood thing and take off. But we don't, because we can't.

Get the kids outside and let them run around to burn off some energy - then get yourself some ice cream.

Love ya!

Frankly, sarcasm is overrated.
Personally, I stay clear of it at all costs.

Hmm... I'd say more cynical than sarcastic.  But still deserving of a hug.  :::hug:::

I'll give you another if you share some of your ice cream.  ;-)
