Yes Gypsy,
I can relate to that. Once I was in the hotpital readying for the removal of a tumor wrapped around my spinal cord. While lying in bed a nurse made a remark something to the effect that I looked like I was doing great. I just had to shake my head. I wanted to say something back but I held my tongue.

sarooster... I've often thought the same thing!
I especially love it when the nurse was admitting me,, after I got in the bed she said, " Hi there, how are you?" I'm thinking "Are you a dumbfuck? How am I? I'm frickin terrific, can't you tell?" LOL
