Powerful, Temple.
Very tight.  Images are poignant. Loved it.

Michael

If you mean the x-ray, yes, I got it.  I didn't know you were injured in Iraq since I spoke with you so close to the time you went home.  It looks terribly painful and complicated.  I'm sorry that you have to go through it, and I hope you heal well and are feeling okay.  I'm also glad you are seeing that your wife is truly a gift to you and that she loves you very much.  I hope that your marriage gets better every day and you can love her and take good care of her when you are well, also.  Best wishes.

The profound arena

of death is vast, yet you sum it up in a few lines.

Wish I could say more. Feeling a little breathless.

This made me think about things
in a new way.  Great poem.  Says much with few words. Take care Temple

Death is certainly a thief my sweet...
thief of time, of love, of laughter and of joy; but it comes for us all, and we can get all those things back on the other side...I hope.
