Thanks for looking into this, Brian--
I can see how that is the most likely cause. I know that kingmi reads these lists of mine, so when I post it again he'll probably notice that his number seems low to him, so I will let him know what happened.
Thanks again, Blogit Team!

Ciel,
To check the numbers, we manually reviewed all clicks for your account one-by-one yesterday. Counting by hand, there were 26 clicks for kingmi in this monthly cycle, which matches the number calculated by the Blogit software and displayed in your distribution list.
Again, counting by hand, your distribution list would have shown 23 clicks for kingmi on March 23.
Since in your earlier post you wrote that you had already had 32 clicks for kingmi, it could be that by mistake your transposed "32" for "23" when you were writing your post and manually including the numbers.
Since that is the only number in question, this is the most likely explanation, since a software error would probably affect all numbers, not just one.
We periodically check and confirm that the accounting systems on Blogit are working correctly and we have not seen any errors. Please let us know if you have any other questions on this.
Thank you.

details
I have posted every few days a list of the bloggers I've read the most, so I can tell you that kingmi had 32 clicks on March 23, and 24 clicks on March 27. He's got 26 today.
(I joined on Dec 31. and upgraded my acct on Feb 16)

Thank you for explaining. Your Writer Payment Distribution cycle resets on the date you subscribed so that can be one of the reasons for the number of page views changing.
Would you let us know the name of the writer you believe you had a higher number of page views for one week ago (do you think that was around last Sunday or earlier in the week?).
You can email us via the Help page if you prefer to send us the information privately and we will investigate.

According to the list on the Payment Distribution Page in My Account,
one of the writers I've been reading regularly was listed as my having read them over 30 times. Today, that same writer is on the list as having been read only 24 times. That is what I'm asking about.

By mistake I just posted from another Blogit staff member's account. We're not sure we understand your question.
Are you referring to the "Payment Distribution for Writers" page? The number of page views on that page only reflect the number of times you have read other people's writing, and not the number of times they have read your blogs. So that number will continue to increase each month until the end of your payment cycle at which point your writer payment will be distributed to the writers and the distribution system will start tracking who you are reading again for the cycle.
If you wish to track the readership of your blogs, you can see the cumulative total number of page views you have had on your blogs by clicking on the "Write" page and looking at the numbers next to your blogs.
If this does not answer your question, please use the terminology we use on Blogit to describe which page you are looking at and what your question is about that.
Thank you.
