I find it usually happens to me when I'm saying something terribly witty.  Then I just can't re create it!  Dammit!

spiff,

No, I have never been displeased at all.  It's only that today was one of those days in which I appreciated it more.

JJ, being sweet "today"? Have I displeased you in the past?
(J.K.!!) I hope he didn't scratch your back up too much. Believe me, I know what it's like. These squirrels have scratched the living hell out of me in the past years. So bad that at times, my animal hospital clients have seen my clawed up arms and hands and asked me, "My God! What happened to you?!" Most of the scratches are from my rehab squirrels, but I must admit, some ARE from crazy animals at the hospital. (I don't tell them that, though!)

Spiff,

The top of my shoulders is all scratched up.  Jake climbs up there, scratching me all up in the process.  Then he struts around like ''I'm kool, I'm kool,'' and that's OK until he starts falling off.  My back becomes the tree bark that saves him from a fall.  I haven't looked at my back yet today, and he was there the entire last part of the afternoon.  Somehow he seemed to have a fallish orientation.  Thank you for being sweet today.  I needed it.

luv.......   JJ

JJ, Sweetie, you know you're 100% kewl in my book anyway.

Ooh, I'm typing weird cause I have a squirrel in my sleeve running around and scratching me up right now. K, so anyway, I've gotten used to seeing people "talk to themselves" when really on the phone in public places. Stalkers vs. stockers? Yep. Gotcha. I think that was an honest mistake, originally.  No harm done.

      Smoochies....

Spiffi,

Hey!  I popped out of the woodwork.  Or is that RAM?  Will I get RAMmed when I post this comment, or will I be RAMmed by the system onto the virtual RAM of the Hard Drive?  Any way you look at it, it's rape if you aren't in the mood.

Speaking of cell phones in the grocery store, people are always on them there.  I have thought they were talking to me and said ''What,'' before seeing the phone.  Some guy was talking to the vegetables and I eased away from him.  He was asking his wife about cucumbers.  He looked at me funny because I looked at him funny, then we both eased away from the suggestive cucumbers.  I started to ignore people talking to themselves in the grocery store, but it wasn't long before I got rammed from behind by a stocker's cart.  What do you think I should do?  And remember:  a stocker is not a stalker (Maybe.  She/he could be both.  And then we have stalkers who remove corn from the stalk.  Don't get confused.)

Also, people walking around in the parking lot with a cell phone, doing the ''Am I cool, or what,'' irritate the hell out of me.  I don't think they even have anyone on the line.  They're just ''bein' cool.''  Can anything be done about that?

Thank you Spiff.  I saw a couple of your posts that made me wonder if you were going to go 100% serious on us.  I was dismayed.  I'm glad I was wrong.

K fer now, luv........        JJ     Telephonically Unnn-kewl

kingmi, I think all companies and cell phone manufacturers
have this happen to customers, but damn! When it does, it is a pain in the ass! One just never knows when the connection actually ended!!

Rach, I'm glad I don't have that company, or
any other. It doesn't actually happen to me too often, but when it has, IT SUCKS!

Rarely happens on Verizon, but if my phone is in ill-repair (I get the kids' phones when they upgrade) then it does.  Ihad tohave myNokia sent in and repaired.  The antennae was loose. now it works fine, even from inside my classroom, thank God. When i reach for my cell phone, I gain complete compliance in whateve language.
