- Go to Did I Ever Tell You The Story About My Brother . . .
Too funny-
Just this morning, my son started to wrap scotch tape around his head. But, being the nice mommy I pointed out that it would hurt. "No it won't." Tries it. "Oookaaay."

I was wondering about how he would get all that sticky
stuff out of his hair.

That was one stunt I'm sure he never tried again.

I think I'm going to try it :)
My sister and I put little pony tails (about 15 of them) in my brother David's hair. Then we turned him out into the back yard so that the neighbours could admire our work. The things poor kids do for fun! :) :) Thanks for sharing your heart warming stories. It makes me feel more grounded in the metropolis.

There's a very beautiful story lurking here and I suspect...
longing to be told. My heart is touched deeply at what you and your brother so obviously meant to one another.
I hate to use the word but I almost picture a Dickensian spirit between you and your brother. In an emotionally chaotic world you two were each others anchors.
Now that he is not present physically you will need to take the leap of faith that everything you and he ever meant to each other still exists.
And you do know that there is a resevoir of kind spirit here in this heart, somewhere on the raiforest west coast.

It made me laugh!! It's wonderful that you can still look back on the happy times you had with him. God bless you.

Jeez, I guess your brother and I are really alike. I have a thing for duct tape. I've even made a duct jacket. :-)
