It is really sad that most of the English speaking world do not understand the language! "Respond to ignorance" was not an attack on your Intelligence Quotient! But responce to your lack of knowledge of the American policy towards Arab "oil" which has been a part of it's strategic interest since the oil embargo of the seventies. No offense was meant!

It is increasingly hard for me to respond to ignorance! Since the oil embargo of the seventies, America has been planning for and plotting to occupy the "oil" fields of the Middle East! It is a matter of public record! The strange thing back then was the price! Now that their futures contracts are in-the-money no one is complaining! But the public will pay at the pump and deficits!

Glen, think about it..if it were for the OIL..don't you think we would have invaded S,America, then Mexico and moved on up to Canada? The oil has yet to flow consist enough to support Iraq, but if it will help pay for their reconstruction efforts than why not. Very few were of their citizens were receiving any benefit to begin with.
