- Go to About the number of blogs one blogger can blog... My Two Cents
Blog amount
This may contradict everything I've ever said, but I think the number of blogs should be based on readership. If everyone were allowed 8 blogs, it would dilute the quality of the blog. If a user is popular and widely read, then he deserves the chance to increase his number of blogs.

I'm thinking that having 8-10 possible would be enough to keep busy in,
with topics in areas I would like to target more to the specialties, like food. I want to access readers that stick to categories like that, or I could just put everything else in Everything Else!

And that's why I've given up blogging about blogging!

I may be wrong, but I sem to have observed the following:
1. The highest-paid bloggers (not the most popular) have few blogs but steadily post material of interest to a subgroup of readers who don't run around diluting their "hits" by reading everything. Like "Art".
2. There are lots of people out there not getting hits despite having lots of blogs.
3. Blogging is like lettuce: it has to be fresh, it has to be consistent, and it has to be out where the customers can see it. Make comments, post good stuff every day on every blog.

I agree.
I played an MMORPG for $13 a month, and now I am paying that same price for only one blog. The Blogit Basic package should definitely allow more than one blog.
