WHAT?
other people don't shut down their lives to read a book? heheh ..I beat ya mum ..I finished at 1:30 last night :-P ..and didnt' completely stop my life ..I tried telling my manager I couldn't work because I wasn't finished reading ..he just chuckled and knew too well that I'd never really use that excuse. I agree with you on the death too ..I spent quite a bit of time ..in several places worrying about who it might be - for all the mishaps and possiblities ..but the actual person who died didnt' really upset me.

LOL Whim, ya know me too well.
But unlike your kid, I don't have anybody to forbid me to stay up all night to finish the story. If he's managed 300 pages, that's impressive, considering that I am sure you haven't let him completely shut down the rest of his life to read the book.

How did I know you would have finished it?
My son got his copy yesterday afternoon. He is only on page 300. It is killing him not to tell us everything that happens as he comes to it. I suspect he will also be waiting for the next one the minute he is done with this one. The concept of it taking time to write a book, not to mention getting in published, is beyond him. J.K. should be able to write as quickly as he reads.
