Very iteresting take on the corruptive power of apathy! Could it be that Americans have seen so much incompetence that they simply wait for it to change political parties?

We're Really Not Interested
Glennb,
I think what incenses non-Westerners is how apathetic Americans are. In their view, the American people wield a great deal of political power, but we don't exercise it. Not only are we apathetic, in their view, we're also politically unaware. If it's not a personal scandal, we really don't seem to care too much what's going on in Washington.

Who do bullies bully? Kids they're not afraid of. Imperialist governments (bullies)--like ours--impose their will (bully) on governments they're not afraid of.
