Serious writing here earns about the equivalent of...
...the average yearly income of a Sudanese rat-herder. I've made more in a single published article than the top earner has made in two years. Coffe-clutching is the only way to earn big pennies. Or renting out Ringo, which worked until Dad....well, I can't go on. Glue me.

Well, there really is no purpose to this blog, or the content of it. But it certainly isn't intended as some gimmick to get in the top ten. Man, I've been there, done it, got the t shirt. That was before the swarm of bored housewives took over and killed my soul...as well as any chance this website ever had of being taken seriously as an online writing marketplace.

Well, that's the impression that I got
you cannot get to the top 3 blogs if no one reads you. I guess your aim was to get your friends to click on you lots and then you would make it to the top 3? Or, was it to convince people to quit blogit so you can be at the top? Not clear to me what you are attempting to accomplish in this blog at all. Maybe you were trying to get clicks by antagonizing me? That won't work for more that today either.

The reason bored housewives get into the top ten is because of the amount of comments they leave on other peoples' blogs - not because of the content. Are you seriously telling me somelone like Voyager deserves to have a blog full of quotes and nothing in the top ten?

Bored is hardly what I would call myself, darling. After cleaning house,
cooking meals, and running the kids to school and back, I DON'T have time to spend all day on here has you state. I take two times a day to blog and comment. As for housewives "taking over" Blogit--I would just say that Blogit is a symptom of a much deeper issue--women making a niche for themselves where there was none before. As for you being bored by our rantings....Well, I can't help that. However, someone must be interested or we wouldn't be in the top ten. And by the way, a great majority of people who comment on my blogs are NOT housewives, so I'd hardly call this a chat site for us. Good post, just wrong.
