Too true,

guys typically don't have a range of names to choose from, so you're right, statistically, getting together with a Mike is as likely as a Bill or Steve, unless you're getting into the Shaquilles, the Devons, the Jamals, etc.

That sounds like a great story, I met my own in a homeless shelter called the Aloha Inn.

OK Women of the Mike's Unite!

You have to put a book under the sloping edge I would assume. Mine does not slope.... It might be an older one??? Mike bought it

Onto the Mikes...I met my Mike online through a personal ad on Excite a few days after 9/11(My ad said "Are you strong enough to be my man?" He was)

Michael is a very popluar name and has been for many decades so statistically speaking it's not all that amazing that so many of us have Mikes...even my favorite TV character is a Mike (Det. Mike Logan "L&O")

Hmm. Women with men named Mike (Michael)
What have we got going here?  I  have my own Mike, too.

I do.  My own "Mike" (he really is named Michael), loves my cooking, but we had a little bit of a tiff last night over his refusal to give me my due goddess status.

Mike was cussing, trying to make the waffles...

but they were well worth the trouble. I had grilled sweet onion and he went for kiwi strawberry.

Mikes-goddess,
You are a saint!  I've been getting bored with our George Forman (woman does not live by steak and pork chops alone).  I'm going to try the burger recipe.  Viva George Forman!

Time to trot out my George Foreman again.
It's been resting for quite a while, but now you've got me going.   Let's not forget grilled cheese, peanut butter, and tuna salad, either.   Mine is a bit older and did not come with a waffle grid.  Also, it slopes downhill so grease will drain off, so I don't think waffles would work.
