Your Right !!
It often leads to an ethical question and standing up to yourself; for example, I bought a 600 dollar palm pilot at AT&T and the guy who sold it to me told me my plan covered the whole nation, no roaming...what he didn't tell was that my phone/palm pilot wasn't covered in that plan yet...and I asked him that question and he said ya, it's covered...so i believed him, I shouldn't have. Next thing I know I have 1,000 dollar roaming bill. They admitted the guy probably lied to me, and they admitted that it was there fault on the phone. However, they wouldn't cancel the bill they offered to take 100 dollars off the bill " are you kidding me!!!" I wrote the VPs, the claims department everyone. They still wouldn't take off the 1000.00. So, kept all the information document and they still said it was going on my credit file. I am still too mad to pay it. So, it is still on there and I told them they would never pay it...it has been 3 years 4 to go! If someone inquiries about the money owed,I bring documentation of my dealings with them, including a note from my attorney. Sometimes you just have to say NO!!! I refuse to put up with your fleecing of the American public. I have the money to pay it off but I have a car paid off, I rent and not buying a house anytime in the next 4 years...so what HELL NO THEY ARE NOT GETTING A PENNY!!!!! EVER!!! THEY ADMITTED THE GUY LIED AND COME TO FIND OUT HE HAS HAD MORE THAN A FEW COMPLAINTS ABOUT & AND I"M THE WHO SUFFERS? IT IS THE BIGGEST BUNCH OF BS EVER, THESE ARE THE SITUATIONS WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO STEP IN AND HELP OUT THE CONSUMER!!!! does this make me a dishonest, untrust worth person? My credit post thinks so!
