Hi. I am Davie.
I finally found myself around this maze. It took me a couple days. I think customer service knows me by my first name now! They were great helping me find where I am, literally. It was at first a mess, in my mind that is. My first week here. I never knew what a blog was before. Now I am going to try to find out whom I am. I was so stressed trying to find my stuff. I am only now starting to figure out how to find my own poems. I know what you mean about people reading and not leaving comments. I am a Newbie still for sure. I read your last Blog about shopping, and going to work. I know you have other stuff. I will be back reading other’s blogs this morning. You have some great talent. Good job! I have a good woman friend that can kick out poetry in a very articulate letterform. It is a unique style. I just have never been able to write like that. I stumbled onto accidentally a different method... Incase you have not read or noticed any of my recent Blogs; I do mostly Religious/Spiritual, and Romance poetry. Mostly depressing stuff. I do have some inspirational material, lately. However, my best stuff is when I can get in touch with Mother Nature. Whether Earth or God; for poetry writing, it is one and the same, at least for me. My quickest route to sad poetry is getting out certain tunes, type of music, melodies that I know will depress me; just through, or by the association it controls. It has a strange hold over me. Sometimes, I am in the car, other times, I am walking around with my walkman CD, listening to tunes that just blows my mind. On a more serious note; NOT! I occasionally get lucky; yet, I think I am at my best when I am depressed, though. That is for sure! Music is my tool. To be honest, the melody that gets me there is classical or sometimes the blues. I do fess up to Jazz, but it does not settle right in my head for the type of writing I want, so instead I stick to rhythm and blues or music that reminds me of past losses. Sarah Bright man, Charlotte Church, or some decade old-eighties, that's a heart breaker. I try to forget and avoid topics of my age brackets; relationships back then is what started me on this journey. Nevertheless, the memory still does sting. You know what I mean? that's all I got. I hope you like this blog. I encourage you to do the same. It's good practice. See you soon. Check out my new religious poetry or Romance. I will try to keep up with what you have. Hang in there.
