Thanks Ca88* for the comment.
We have great insurance so the bills will be minimal. The stone just has to go. It does no good inside of me so we will take care of it. If cheesecake has anything to do with stones I will be a goner for a long time. I just love cheesecake.

Thanks Sad*,
That is some good advice. I have the one big stone and several smaller ones. I am up against a deadline for going on vacation so I will have my biggest stone zapped. I will try the other stuff you mentioned and try to get rid of the other stones that will cause me problems later. Thanks for the advice.

don't worry and fret. a small kidney stone is no big deal. i had one about the size of a grape with intense pain. after all sorts of diagonistic procedure and radiography, the surgeon decided to put me on the operation table. as i was being made ready for the incision, i suddenly felt a sort movement in my ureter. i told that to the surgeon. he asked for another radio scan. the stone had shifted about an inch. he decided not to operate and jikingly told me that i had cheated him of an operation. he advised me three things: 1) drink a lot of barley water; 2) drink a lot of beer if i can, and 3) go on with a indian herb medicine called CYSTONE. this medcine is made from a common herb with thick leaves and can grow anywhere. even if you take out a piece and put it on soi, it will germinate into a bush. it has some alkaloid and some other stuff in its leaves. and lo and behold, after about two months, the stone broke and the pieces came out bit by bit. you may try that.
