Kooka,
I am lucky enough to say that no one has attempted to trick me into going to church, however I have gotten what I call "the Jesus speech" from many when they find out I'm a witch. Get this....my own boss whom I'm pretty tight with and have worked with for 9 years JUST NOW realized I believe in God. He just assumed that I didn't cause I'm a witch.
So, it just goes to show that so many are misinformed about what others believe or don't believe; exactly in your case with the "friend" that tries to lure you to church even though you don't believe in God. It's kinda like overkill...."Ya want some chocolate?" "No, I don't like chocolate, but thanks." "No, but really, it's sooooo good. Here, try a bite of this cake."

Kooka - it's always interesting to read about one's past. Thanks for sharing. But next time watch out for those interjected parantheticals... I got really confused about halfway through the post.
