Voyager,
95% is pretty amazing. I am probably at about 70% right now.

I follow the clicks allright, and it's still slightly increasing, wonder where that will end soon and start dropping. And when reading some comments here; yes, comments are indeed a sort of appreciation that you give, creating an interaction seeking for communication. I comment about 95% of the time, not always! (Speaking only for myself here), return clicks are always appreciated but never required.

MayB,
I know the feeling. Some days it seems as though I am blogging in a vacuum, my own little world where I can leave 30 comments but still be invisible to the masses.

Quirk,
I actually put a little note on my calendar on Feb 11 just to remember when the counter started. I look at the number of clicks every once in a while and keep a mental note of them. I don't write them down or anything. I do sometimes look at the number in a certain blog just before posting if I'm curious at that time. Depends on my mood, I guess! As with everything else!

The ratio I observed decided me to virtually quit blogging. I noticed that I could comment on 20 other bloggers and yet get no clickers or readers in return. I am the quiet blogger but that is a little too quiet even for me

I haven't figured it out yet...
But, I'll have to start paying attention. I was surprised that in the two days I've been back I've already had 130+ clicks on my rants blog. I don't know if that's good, bad, or average, but since I've been gone so long I didn't expect it.

Naw, but think about this.
Sometimes there are posts that are so well written that there is really nothing to say and 'good post' seems inadequate.

Gypsy,
When you get clicks without comments, you can assume that they read the post(and hope that it is true) but the only thing you really know for sure is that they clicked. ;-)

Good idea
I am kind of a math nut so the idea of calculating my click to comment ratio does actually appeal to me. Off the top of my head I'd say I get 3 comments per every 10 clicks. I ask for feedback in my blog. I tend to ask a question or two to my readers. I figure if I make it interactive then it will generate more interest and more feedback.

Quirky..
I do notice it. It just reaffirms that whole thing when people say, I read you I just don't always comment. Now I know that's true! Especially on the story of my life I started. Dark stuff and sometimes it's hard for people to find something to say. I understand it.
