Hi, Mandinka!
What matters is that you know the difference, and aren't likely to mistake the packaging for the goods! And if you find any religion that really has a wide view of the Big Picture, be sure to let me know!

Hey Ciel
I want to say thanks for the great advice you gave me regarding spirituality. I do in fact acknowledge the difference between spirituality and religion. FOr many religion can lead somebody to a path of spirituality but I think the people with an ingrained sense of spirituality do not need to find religion. I may be one of those people who need religion to help me find my sense of spirituality. I read your post and will continue to look at it for advice and guidance. Thanks.

Sannhet, some students get hung up on the concept of having a grounding
that is "like a cord" or "like a root" because they perceive it as non-stretchable-- Instead of being grounded, they feel tied down. They feel they can't stay grounded if they stand up, or are in a car, or in a plane. It's the confusion between what's real for the physical vs what's real for energy.
You probably stayed grounded because it felt good. Maybe you didn't notice consciously, but some part of you would have noticed that you felt better grounded than not, and since it is a natural thing to do, once shown, it just kept going with it even though you didn't, consciously.

I remember the first time I tried this, many years ago. I was very young and initially amazed until I realized that I was attaching part of my self to the ground (that's how I pictured it anyway). From that point I think I was much more grounded in everything I did - including my wild-ass fantasies.
