People can create evil

But when you put all of their evil into a bucket…you end up with a cumulative Force.

Evil is a numbers game…and satan is the bookie.

pappy -- you do not have the foggiest clue of what you speak
Turning real life criminals and nutcases into anonimous charicatures is pretty mild stuff in comparison to real hatred.

I hope you feel better now, gomedome
Although I've found that repeating my hatred doesn't work as well as just getting tired of holding on to it.

There is evil in the world, but it is all man made. There is no great force of evil and nature creates nothing evil. Man is really the only thing on earth able to commit acts of evil, because man is the only thing aware of the consequences of the actions.

For a small child
monsters are very real. They are vulnerable and are almost completely dependent on adults. No wonder they have fears!

As for the devil, whether he is a person or just a force, it would be hard to suggest that there is no evil in the world.

Wow
Some people give fictional characters way too much power over their lives. I am busy trying to teach my five year old to not be afraid of the monsters he imagines are there and normally will end up admitting that he made up. Is there some strange human need to create monsters and demons in order to be scared of nothing that some people grow up out of, yet a large portion of our society seems to wish to keep as being an active part of their lives?
