I remember being excited
because it was my fourth birthday. I wish that I could remember back further then perhaps I would see my Dad a little clearer.

JJ, were your parents feeding you acid in your breakfast?
Ya know, to keep you entertained? Did it ever catch you? Why was it chasing you? Did you insult it?

spitsy,
The first thing I remember was a tyrannosaurus chasing me in front of the place that we lived. That was back when I was pretty young, but I don't remember my age.

Good for you, DivineD!
How cruel of them to do that to you! I agree, these days it's much different for kids.

First memory
I was 3 or 4 when I was hospitalized for an operation. This being a few (

) years ago, the methods of dealing with children's traumas weren't what they are now. I remember screeching when they put me on the operating table (I had no clue what was going on and no one would talk to me and tell me) and getting even more upset when someone tried to put the anesthesia mask on my face. They ended up tieing me down! Same thing happened when the doctor came by later that week to take the stitches out, tied to the bed ! My only small piece of revenge was having gotten out of bed (without permission of course), stealing another kid's toy truck, and flinging it down the long hallway, tripping the mean nun that had tied me to the bed

.
