Hmmm..is definitely a "dont"
to be personal on the blog,'cos bloggers are people after all,the difference is we do not know them, and they dont know us....sometmes that might make things worse rather than better.....:)

I do know it can be used for facials.

word.smith,
not you! (but I wonder if egg has any moisturizing benefits, lol).

Yikes!
It's a good thing you're not tellling, otherwise some of us might find ourselves with egg on our face.

renigade,
but the theory is, you must recognize a quality in yourself (the good as well as the bad), or how would you know what it was?

posted by Julia. on February 23, 2005 at 10:35 PM | link to this | reply

Whenever I've judged someone it's been because of my own insecurities--
not necessarily because they reminded me of myself...

tiger,
I share that belief with you, but many people don't think it's true.

posted by Julia. on February 23, 2005 at 10:14 PM | link to this | reply

I've got my suspicions
but I'm not going to post them. I don't judge people, becuase often when you judge someone, you're seeing an aspect of yourself that you don't like in them.

Passionflower,
I'm not perfect, I have been critical of others and judgemental too, if I'm being totally honest with myself. But I do try very hard not to be, and try to be more compassionate and accepting towards even those I don't particularly like.

Katray,
The little fishy might want to swim in the shark tank again some day, so I'm sworn to secrecy. ;-)

Very interesting, but not surprising...
Some people judge and speak before they think. Mindless assumptions just prove how empty their hearts really are. Kind of sad actually. If this sounds too harsh, I'm also remembering the cruel and baseless crap flung your way. Way to show 'em Quirky! But...wouldn't it be even sweeter to reveal Who the little fishy was? Lol, yes, I'm nosy, hasn't hurt me yet. Not too bad anyway...

renigade,
curiosity killed the cat, and despite what they say, satisfaction can't bring her back!

Now I am sooooo curious...Who was the little fishy?

Ariala,
Well I don't know about ALL fairytales...but certainly a good portion of 'em.

Gypsy, rofl!
Nice analogy...perhaps even true! lol.

Sorry to hear this...
I've lived the sort of life where I find it rediculous to think of criticizing anybody else for what they've done. Judgement? Nobody's got any business...Or credentials.

posted by Passionflower on February 23, 2005 at 10:05 AM | link to this | reply

And you prove to me that all fairytales are based on fact. Nice write up.

quirky...
sounds suspiciously like "be careful of the toes you step on, they might be connected to the ass you'll have to kiss someday!"
