Thanks Ca88*,
Your comments on this subject are very helpful to me. I get down at times, but I know we have to win at this. We are going to do it. It will take time and effort. Knowing others have gone through it and come out fine really helps me out. Thanks for your input.

sarooster - children are never easy and its always the last thing you try that will work! Trust me, I know from experience what an enormous amount of energy, pain, time and committement you have to put into each child. The rewards will come, but they might be years away.

Don't give up on your niece. Counseling will make a world of difference if you have a good counselor. I know you are committed to her...sometimes just loving and accepting a person just as they are can help them to shine. It's what we all long for. I'm trying it myself. I don't have a clue as to how it will all work, but I'm receptive to being shown. I have found that when I do it, it works. :)

Thanks Voyager for reminding of that. I know there will be many more
battles, but the ultimate goal is to win the war. I will make sure I keep in mind this comment.

Dear Sarooster, one bad batlle doesn't mean the war is lost. Things will go positively forward again, have faith in that. Take care and have a swell weekend! VOYAGER9940
