Kingmi,

Do you mean Bill Maher? I guess he is trying to ingratiate himself with the Bush crowd!

He's a great liar
but it's not the same thing

GennB, Thank you! Bill Mauer was the host of ABC's Politically Correct,
got fired for saying too much -- he says -- and now has a show on HBO.  Very funny and very biased!

On some levels tax cuts and the invasion of Iraq worked and on other levels they did not work. I am saying that anyone can massage the statistics or come up with an argument to justify their actions. Anyone who is a thinker will need more than someone's say so to prove anything

kingmi,

I am cautious about giving credit to actions that require little "thought" to embrace. George Bush and most of his "thinking" has benefited him personally. Sort of me first and everyone else will benefit! Who does not welcome less tax liability? But society gains zero benefit, because government has to borrow to function! I "think" he is a great con artist! Who is Bill Mauer anyway?

Scribe, right, and that's pretty good thinking!

Kingmi--Maybe more of a leader than thinker. As Henry Ford is quoted as
saying, "I may not know history, but if I press that button, I can have five guys in here quickly with PhD's that do know history."    --something like that.

Sassy, so you agree then? Sounds like faith there moving mts.

When Bush speaks about something happening
Either it already is or he will make it happen. He probably thinks that he can move heaven and Earth.

i don't know about thinker, but he's not much of a listener. i do admit that some people really like his charizma

posted by Arlene_the_Lovely on February 19, 2005 at 7:52 AM | link to this | reply

I guess he's just responding to some actual events there. Not sure if that's got to do with wishful thinking. Besides, there's a small gap between thinker... and stinker. No worries Kingmi, see you soon!
