Quirky, some dogs love the rain. Dillinger the pit bull puppy here at my
neighbor's guest house doesn't even seem to notice the rain, nor care about it. It's a non-issue for him. Mine run out into the rain after thinking about not doing it, then pee rapidly and run back, shaking their wet paws as they run back inside. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Didn't know that dogs hate rain...but they can't hate it as much as us kitties do!

OH MY GOODNESS!! Benzinha, what' you're summing up there, is my dream since1997, when I started to plan a voyage to Western USA. Unforeseen circumstances have postponed this, but not eliminated it!
Oh yes, I dream of going there, and withh a bike to rent, and explore all the wonders of Arizona. Oh dear, now I'm sooo jealous!! Healthy jealous then of course!
Hercule Poirot, chocolate, lace and the Congo. An excellent summery of Belgium goodies dear. Now add the French fries and you have it all!! LOL! See you Benzinha!!

Voyager. I love your bad English. I loved the idea of 200 days in one week!
I need that extra time. Yes, we make people think of deserts and cacti and cowboys and Indians and tacos and salsa. We are all of those things and much more.
We have the Grand Canyon and it is grand. We have the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert, ancient Indian ruins and present day Indian towns and Reservations. You should visit us on your bike some year.
We USUALLY have great biking weather. Lance Armstrong used to train here. His mommy lives here in Tucson and I ran into her in a library here in town and we talked about our bicycle riding, fanatical sons and about being raised overseas. She is a missionary's child and was raised in China. I lived in Central and South America when young.
When I hear the word 'Belgium' I think of Hercule Poirot and chocolate and lace and the Congo.

Holy Grail, floors! Floors! I wish it were just the floors! Mine climb up
on sofas and futons and beds. I am washing blankets and sheets and covers like a mad woman. I have covered absolutely everything around here to protect it from their mud.

gypsy,so far the rains are only bringing up the 'high as an elephant's eye'
Crop of Weeds!!! Huge 40 year old cacti are falling over from the added weight of extra water drinking this season. They stand on drought stricken spindly legs and have these Huge tummies full of water and then, in the sopping wet soil, they topple. Sad.

Voyager, I live in drought stricken Arizona. Ha! So much rain that we are
melting, we're melting this year and molding and wading knee deep in water this winter.

Good luck with your computer! My dogs don't really mind the rain so much anymore, but I do. The resulting 8 muddy paws just kill my floors.

Good luck with the new computer! Hopefully the rain will bring plenty of things to life and the doggies get over their depression!

Benzinha,
Yes, our dogs are depressed too. If there is no break in the rain, they bark in the living room as they look out the front window. Usually at ridiculous hours.
I believe I read, somewhere in your blogs, that you live in Arizona, perhaps in the Phoenix area. Perhaps our dogs have barked at one another. We get the same rainstorms.
I like your posts........... JJ
