Two Answers.
1. Not a damn thing. My ex is a complete idiot and it's all in his head.
2. Some studies have shown high levels of mercury in tuna, and mercury, as we all know, causes severe birth defects (like flippers, and I mean that seriously). What ding-a-ling didn't read was that the high levels of mercury were found in fresh tuna, not in the canned stuff. In fact, the two studies I read specificallyl stated that canned tuna had not shown high levels of mercury.
Anyway, he didn't want us to have a deformed baby. But I seriously doubt that two to three cans of tuna a day over only a week or two would have hurt anything unless the mercury levels were high enough to turn the fish silver.
