Good analogy
As a fellow sufferer, I concur. It does feel like heaviness pushing you down.

Guess that's why so many depressive, bipolar people are at Blogit.
Interesting, as always.

i'm glad you can talk about your depression, too many people hide it inside. the way i get through it is by remembering that it won't last forever

MiaElla thanks for stopping in and sharing your pretty love.  I find to understand things from many perspectives helps me a lot.  It is quite a sentence, but I am learning as much as I can, and I keep smiling cause of people like you lver mysteria

I know that feeling...it's also like filling your pockets with rocks and walking into a lake. You try to breathe but you can't. You try to stand but you can't. Everything is so dark and heavy...like the night, only quieter.

yes, and also I left out the part where sights and sounds become overly stark and distorted to the point they become so overwhelming I retreat into a shell of autisic blankets...I like that, always forward...so simple and so beautiful in truth.

Pretty good
discription, but you left out the lead apron on your mind that keeps out all the light and makes thoughts so heavy you can't even begin to deal with them. Always forward.

Hey thanks 4 chiming in.  I guess I have been working on this in my subconscious.  I feel the need to explain my distancing reclusiveness and aloofness to certain people.  This bit of revelation  will help in many ways.         lver mysteria

Yeah, but if you wear one of those, Superman can't see your undies.

Sorry, just going for a chuckle on that.  :-)
