...but interesting. In typical Orwellian fashion, the Republican rightwingnuts declare that only their facts are relevant and only they understand the meaning of the term, "totality."
I suppose the bright spot in all of this mess is that only one of our perspectives can be judged as sane while the other is missing several key french fries out of their Happy Meal. The shame is that so much of what the right does is scream everyone else into submission and silence, while the left just talks the issue to sleep.
I have no quarrel with the intentions of those who would at least attempt to do more than offer mere lip service to the notion of patriotism and social responsibility.
But I do have alot to quarrel with as far as the behavior and rhetoric of others who share my passion for the USA and all that it has stood for in the past.
I see no evidence to suggest anything other than a massive vote fraud committed by, primarily, the Republican right in this country on November 2, 2004. There have been other times of electoral misconduct, certainly, but this last time was the last straw. Electoral fraud is a high crime as well as a misdemeanor and Republican Party complicity is not only likely, but provable in a court of law.
I see no evidence to suggest anything other than complete culpability of the Bush Administration in the outing of the name and identity of Valerie Plame -- Former Ambassador Joe Wilson's wife. The release of an intelligence operative's identity to the public is a high crime and an impeachable offense.
I see no evidence of anything other than amoral, unethical behavior in the manner the House of Representatives has changed the ethics rules to protect the criminal, unethical and amoral behavior of Representative and Majority Whip Tom Delay. This conspiracy against the people of Texas and, ultimately, the American people, represents the moral and ethical bankruptcy of the Republican Party.
I see no evidence to suggest anything other than the unauthorized and highly illegal use of force against the sovereign nation of Iraq, and possibly Afghanistan, by the President of the United States. This behavior is high treason, an impeachable offense in its own right, and would be punishable by death in any other period of American history. Instead, 1500 US soldiers have been sentenced to die in a pointless and illegal war, tens of thousands more have been grievously injured and expected to pay for their own food while they recuperate in Walter Reed. Not to mention the tens of thousands of Iraqis, most of them innocent civilians, who have been killed or gravely injured by this illegal and amoral action on the part of the Bush Administration.
I see no evidence to suggest that the Bush Family has at any period in their history operated completely within the public interest while acting as public servants in positions of great trust and responsibility. They are a family of individuals reared to believe that civil and federal laws do not apply to them, and from at least Senator Prescott Bush, forward, the Bush Family has committed at least one major treasonable offense per generation, sometimes more.
These are not my opinions, these are the objective FACTS. That the fundamentalist Christians of the Republican right have been systematically lied to, conned and manipulated into believing that the FACTS of the Bush Family represent only mere opinion is testimony that the right wing contains no one who is familiar with "fundamentals," nor are they familiar with, "Christianity." They are simply tools of the devil they claim to be aligned against.
In short, it is your sanity that is in question based on your stance and perspectives, not mine. My only insane indulgence is that I actually believe, at different times, that you might actually give a rip.

Final word from the facts . . .
Bush wins by over 3,000,000 votes. Bush gains first clear majority of votes since his father. Liberal agenda gets its clock cleaned. Liberals in massive denial ever since. Liberals get ever more desperate and paranoid in their obssession to regain power, sacrificng credibility in the process.
