katray, I was referring to the bloggers. People are analyzing every story
story now...like the Dan Rather "forged but true" documents. It was the Bloggers who took the air out of that farce.

Whose spotlight? The only one that can shine bright enough for real change is the one wielded by the public and it seems too many are apathetic and/or cowered by the corporate powers that control our "news". Some rays are better than total darkness though, I hope they will wake more people up. Thanks for a hopeful thought.

Forgot to add...
(though this probably goes over the limit - maybe not in 2 comments, lol) I believe mainstream media in America as a whole avoids reporting on many important issues. Too many buzzsaws. Thank God for the internet.

Interesting question Kingmi
I've seen Fox reports that surprised me - they were factual and evenhanded. And I've seen CNN completely miss the boat. I do think overall Fox leans right.
