Thanks Ca88*,
We are using all the alternative therapies we can us. For school the Adderall helps her concentrate which is something she really needs. She ate so bad for so long it's been hard to break the cycle. It is coming though.

sarooster - boy do I know about ADD! I can tell you that diet does do wonders - not just a healthy diet, because some fruit (like apples) exacerbate the situation. There is plenty on websites about low salicitite (spelling?) diets. I'm all for natural remedies as long term cures - even for things like depression. Hope it all works out well.

Thanks original!
We have taken our time and looked at many possibilites. We are going to try the extra dose of Adderall and then see how the rest of the evaluations come out. We will go from there.

Thanks for the advice again!
We have tried several things since she has been living with us. She had been eating only fast foods for a while when she came to live with us. It has been hard to get everything in balance since she has come with us.

Sorry to hear about your niece's problems:
I highly suggest giving her a high quality liquid mineral supplement. They are easy to give as you only need a few drops in juice once or twice a day.
Liquid minerals help the body process vitamins better and function more effeciently overall. It's especially good for balancing mineral imbalances which can cause emotional/behavioral problems.
You can find a good mineral supplement at your local health food store. Just ask an associate for a good quality supplement.
