I don't know what words will do for anyone unless they can sing high. I can do some of the high doo-wops of the Beachboys, but still can't do the last verse to Stairway. I have lately begun thinking of lowering it from Am to Bm.

Zeppelin also has a very lovely song that I believe is titled, "That's the Way" and that along with Stairway are my two favorite Zepp songs. "It begins, "I don't how to tell you, but I can't play with you no more."
I think you might like that one, too!

My daughter can play it on the guitar, with her drummer brother. That song always brings me into the garage to sing, ( they don't like my singing however....)
