I have to admit that I'm rather flattered that my name and blog was referenced to create another post. To show my appreciation I feel it would only be fitting to include the brief comment I posted in reply.
Pure drivel
Firstly the founders would beat you about the head if they heard the way you have interpreted their "promote the general welfare" reference. You would think that if that were the case they would have had public schools and all that back then, but of course those only came about in the 20th century.
If your idea about tax cuts being a "dam" held any water at all then our economy would be sinking faster than Michael Moore in cement shoes(what a thought...), but alas we are having fantastic growth.
Your crying over the disparities in pay increases for CEO's vs. workers is also reminiscent of a fat child complaining because he was picked last for a relay race. Tough freaking luck just be glad somebody decided to organize a race in the first place. Who in the hell are you to tell somebody what they can do with money they found a way to make. You also forget that instead of raising wages many of them simply expand and employ thousands of new people. Did you happen to hear about the 2.3 million new jobs added this year after all that tax money was "dammed" up?
You make not one valid point in your comment. If you had then we would still be in a cold war with Russia right now because they employed most of your suggestions. How'd that turn out by the way? Keep dreaming. Self-congratulation might do well for peace of mind in the short run, but....
