My husband and I are awwwing over the photo!
When my oldest was a baby she used to get so tired that she'd cry herself to sleep everynight...not for long..maybe 5 minutes..but it was a pattern. In the beginning I sit on the bed, wringing my hands, hating to hear her cry...then I realized it was just something she had to do...like letting off some steam. They are all so different and it does take a while to understand their cries. Not easy!

Gosh, he is sooo beautiful. I bet you knew that already, though.
My first daughter had colic. She cried ALL the time for the first three months of sleep. I had no family here and my husband was always on call--so he couldn't help. Not only that, but Lauren wouldn't stay with ANYONE (even my hubby) without screaming until 6mos! We once left her with our friends and she screamed holy murder the whole time--7hours. I know that feeling. I'm so glad I was able to aknowledge it and just walk away--which sometimes meant just letting her cry for an hour or so while I calmed down. You're doing a good job. Thanks for reading me!
