Thanks for your help! I'll save it until I upgrade my subscr. plan.

Here is the latest info; I believe you may need to change your subscription plan, as described in the first line:

If you subscribed on or after October 27, 2004, you will need to have a Blogit Gold subscription (to change your subscription plan, please go to My Account and click "Change subscription plan"):

* Click "Write" (in the top-right corner)
* Click "Edit" next to your blog's name
* Click "Change template"
* Click the "Edit advanced template set" link
* You will see a text box with a lot of text. Scroll down to the bottom to the last place where this text appears:
   "</xsl:for-each>"
* Click after the "</xsl:for-each>" and type or paste the counter code
* Please note that the counter code must use the latest HTML guidelines, e.g. each "<p>" must have an ending "</p"

If you subscribed on or before October 26, 2004:

* Click "Write" (in the top-right corner)
* Click "Edit" next to your blog's name
* Click "Change template"
* Click the "Edit a classic custom template" link
* You will see a text box with a lot of text. Scroll down until you see this text:
   "<$LinkList$>"
* Click after the "<$LinkList$>" and type or paste the counter code
