Thanks for your comments. I am twenty six and didn't have a problem getting my beer, but some of my soldiers did. I told them that since they were old enough to fight and to bleed for their stars and stripes, to me they were old enough to drink. I got them their beer.

Excellent perspective
--one too many refuse to see. When I was young, you couldn't vote, but you could kill. They changed the voting age to include 18 year olds so they didn't feel their contribution to national security (ha) was unappreciated.
Maybe you're on to something.
Better yet, reality instead of ideals would be better served.
