maj, a drop shipper is a manufacturer of a product. I take their photos and

description of their product and post it online at an auction or in a store or have but one example and then I sell their product for them, collect the money for the product and for shipping and customer info. I send their cut of my retail price collected, the shipping costs and customer info, they ship the product to the customer.

See?

gome, lovely pipes, my daddy and granddaddy from Scotland used to smoke

pipes. A grandfather in Romeo, Michigan, smoking a pipe, using a walking cane and Wearing a Skirt, asking us Tucson cowboy old 'babby' desert hicks, if we wanted to walk to the corner drug store for an ice crrrream sundae. We'd look him up and down with one eye closed to check him out better, and then look at his swaying plaid skirt, his smokey old pipe and crookedy old wooden cane and say, in our desert drawl, "Thanks, really, but no thanks, but we'll take the nickel, if you wanna give it to us."

I miss that look, a man smoking. My one friend who smokes one now, an ex-ambassador or something  from my highschool class, looks foolish.

These longer pipes could never really look foolish, could they? Not going for the same life statement.

So, can I add a Miscellaneous Wonders Room to my store?? I read LOTR before these little 'babbies' were born and I know how to spread the word, I think.

My last, no, second, no third to the last, husband used to go around the US teaching marketing seminars on "Congressional LoopHoles Just Created" to all those Yuppie Rip Off  S & L fellows in the 80's, like Charles Keating and other high fliers. I learned some things from him and you remind me of him a bit.....only you have a real life, too, and he lives alone in his Fortress of Solitude.

Anyway, I love marketing and find myself studying that the most as I surf......about the store.

Hi benzinha -- you have hit on a couple of important points

Consider a person selling a drop shippers list? What is he actually selling but readily available information? Then there is the drop shippers themselves: are they so indiscriminate about who distributes their product that they take all comers? Add what you have alluded to as the product being oversold or the market place being saturated and right from square one the premise of a drop shippers list does not work.

As a reseller you want to develop a relationship with a drop shipper, get to know someone on the other end of the phone, someone who can fix problems for you or answer questions. Consider that a time will come when you are sending them large sums of money and hoping that they will perform on your behalf. That reality demands a relationship of some sort. Check out the LOTR pipes here: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQsassZmachineryking

This is a drop shipping arrangement that I am in full control of. In reality I am the drop shipper for the pipe factory to select distributors.
