Quirky
I've noticed that just a click or two on a blog in a 'less popular' category such as this one can cause it to jump way up in the rankings, even if it's really old. Of course this one will be number 1 now!!

Quirk,
JJ seems to have a pretty valid explanation and knowledge of this, but I dunno. I don't really question stuff like this anymore cause I've contemplated strange rankings and accumulated earnings since I joined 1 1/2 years ago. I just always assume it's whatever it is and I leave it at that!

Interesting findings, here, though. I wonder about it now...

qwerty, I took a look at that...the overall rankings of the top four in Humor are 11, 55, 63 and 86...so in the next few days you should see Gypsy's blog drop. It's only 7 days old...An old blog can stay up in the in rankings of the individual sections if there are huge gaps in the overall rankings.

It could have been......
This is the kind of thing that pops up for a lot of reasons. The first thing I think of is some kind of test data that a programmer was using for a mod or a debug. No software is perfect, I can assure you of that. There are bound to be numerous programmers working constantly on a system like this. It's very easy for test data to get left behind. There might have even been test runs using it at the time you found it.
Another possibility is a software bug that has not been fixed. Bugs, which is to say bad code, are in any complex system. The system here is bound to have plenty--some are known but haven't been fully diagnosed for fixing, others haven't even been run into yet. Every complex program system is that way........... JJ

Quirky
In the same way in which it always does with posts that should fall to the bottom but don't. Take gypsy's post in humor as an example. It shoulda fallen by now, but it hasn't. That's really weird and can only be explained by blogit somehow screwing up, or else, some people have a special methodology they use...
