Dear Mysteria, I like to help you out with the connection between Persis and Vee-Ger.
Persis was an actress on the Star Trek motion picture (1979) and was in search of Vee-Ger. She said Vee-Ger about 30 times in the movie (how could one ever forget then!) and in fact it ment the name of the spacecraft right behind her on that picture.
Vee-Ger stand for VOYAGER (launched in the seventies by Nasa) actually, and thus I thought you'd seen the movie and remembered it.
No worries dear, I like the name!

Dear Mysteria, Google will not help you with that, you will find the person, but not her connection to Vee-Ger.
