Can't you just poke him in the eyes and scream, "Eat your damn food or I'll sell you to the freak show!!"? That what my mother used to do, and becoming 'Penguin Boy' at the age of 3 was a skill that bolstered the quality of my life for years, not to mention my taste for herring.

Sewing my fingers together totally sucked, though.

LOL....I am so glad you can relate DivineDiva
that means a great deal...because I was starting to think...I was doing something wrong.....
I do take things for him to eat anywhere I go...but he is more interested in what others have got....I dont know how I am going to bring him out of this habit....
but it is so embarrassing ....thank you so much for sharing and your advice......take care...I hope you are ok?

My daughter was like that too Symph
I swear my daughter had a hollow leg, she could eat and eat and eat. It was great that she wasn't fussy - she loved smoked oysters with chili sauce on crackers at age 2.
Kids love what other people have, so don't worry about your son wanting to eat someone else's food (I still like to do this
). If you don't want him to look like a mooch, bring a little cup of something with you when you visit (does he like dry cereal like Cheerios?). That way he can "trade" his cereal for whatever other people have !
