Mia,
The people who care read
those who don't, won't.
Poetry is for the elite....

MiaElla, face it, poetry is a strange landscape...a snakes and ladders kind
of situation...climb up one week...slide down the next...
the worst part is that you are a good poet
and that makes for less readers...
good poetry takes time to write
but it also takes time to read
cheap, thoughtless poetry
easy to read...even easier to comment on...
I often want to not comment
on some of the best poems I read
but then I do, and say something inane
and to be 'siociable' in our little
virtual 'community'...
oh well...
there's better company bellow...

MiaElla, if you want,
I will review your poetry book on my website. I do think you write great poetry, I'm just not around Blogit very often. Too many projects and kids and pets...etc...It's up to you, just email me. Tell me where to buy your book too. Take care

MiaE,
I must confess I haven't read as many poems as I used to, nor have I been writing them much lately. I have tons of them that I've written and it seems that when I post/read in the poetry section, no one's posts get too many clicks and/or comments. It's not that they're bad, it's just that I don't see them getting much attention. For the past, I have just chosen to keep my poems to myself. I will go check yours out, though! I promise!

Most poetry is very up and down at best. Yours is at least on a pretty
consistent high level.

bella mia I confess...I espoused your genuis as a poet but then sank
into the naughtiness of reading your diary instead...I will move back to your literary realm one day. BTW - fish aren't good to bond with, their pathetic but simple little lives tend to be miserably short

Thought you knew by now....the public is fickle. One day they love you, next day they forget your name.
