you mean people actually write ABOUT blogging?  That is news to me. . .   What could there possibly be to write about?  Type in the box, read, write, that's pretty much it, isn't it?  Not much to write about, I think.  Maybe people shouldn't take it all so seriously.  It's just a website.

I never write about blogging or Blogit.

I think such posts have their place, but....
..it would be too boring if that is what bloggig on this place was all about

I'd say goodbye!
and I wouldn't even think twice about it! Good question.

I don't think I ever have blogged about blogging, not that I can remember anyway. But I've read what others have written, sometimes I've enjoyed and sometimes I haven't.

katray, but some days (weeks, months) it DOES feel like that is the main focus here.

Talion, I'm going to adopt that as my new resolution as well. It can be tempting when you want to get read to substitute blogger for person, but I'm going to set a new standard for myself. And if that means no one reads, well....so be it...I'll catch the next train out.

beach, yes, some weeks are worse than others, too...or maybe it just feels that way because I have had my fill of blogging blogs.

sheilake, I agree with you on all points.

Quirky,
I can't say that I have ever blogged about blogging. What's the point? I don't mean to be offensive as I know that plenty of writers here have "Blogging" blogs however I find that they are uninteresting and basically boring. So hopefully we won't have to answer your question as to what if people only wrote about "Blogging?"  red

Quirky
I too would say how boring. There is some slight entertainment value to those posts and of course, who doesn't enjoy the ego boosts, but I wouldn't be around much if that were the main focus.

Quirk
During my recent hiatus, I promised myself that I would no longer blog about blogging. There's a strange self-centered redundancy about it that I've never been able to understand. The same is true for using the word "blogger" as a general synonym for "person" in headlines. There are the standard reasonings for this. Marketing, blah, blah, blah, clicks, blah, blah, if no one reads, there's no point, blah. I decided to see how far I could go without using those tricks of the trade. That's the way it is, but I believe it's not the way it has to be.

Quirky-Alone
Some days it feels like that here and on those days it is when I find it too clubby

Blogs about blogging

Speaking as a newbie, I can tell you that blogs about blogging bore me.  But that's just my point of view.  Everyone comes here for different reasons.
