Everybody should have one credit card
You cannot even rent a car without one, and I say one. Any more then one card is gonna get you into trouble. $2,000 isn't bad, but you can probably find one with a fixed interest rate that is low with a higher limit like $5,000.

Also had high interest rates
and monthly bills. It would be best to say yes if you can live as if you said no.
