I just wrote the post. Yes, I do thank God for all his blessings even though concern creeps in about those I love so dearly. I tell my husband, "I am being intelectually concerned." He can see right through me.
Guess I Might not be modeling serenity, huh? I thank you for telling me that my mom loves me and I know it but, I feel so helpless and she means so much to me. TA_TA

Now here's one for you...Just got back from my RCIA class (has something to do with me converting into Pope-lover--can't remember what exactly it stands for off the top of my head). ANYWAY. Here are three things to think about at each stoplight (instead of how you really wanna flip off the guy who just cut you off): 1. How have I acted Christ-like today? 2. How have I NOT behaved in Christ-like manner today? 3. How can I behave in a Christ-like manner in the future? Sure stopped me from giving the one-fingered salute to anybody on the way home!

Sounds like you've reached the big
24, so congrats. Yes I do thank my God each day when I see that sun rise up over the mountain. He may not be the same God as yours or others but he is my higher being and to me that's what counts. Oh to be 24 and know what I do now.
