i'll have to sit on the fence for this one...
feeling, passion, creativity and a connection with your reader are what's needed but at the same time if you don;t follow simple grammar, spelling rules you may lose what it is you are trying to say.

I think that an inmagination/emotion and feeling are hard to come by. You can always hire someone to edit or proof read.

I think it's Stephen King who says that we must learn the rules and learn them well. But then, in order to write well, we must break most of those rules.

Kingmi,
very good analogy in reference to the doctor.  Everything seems to have a "textbook" description although sometimes for some people that is just not normal in their own little "book".
