Probably some kind of slip there, yeah, that is likely. It was a surprise, but a happy one. I knew it was you almost immediately...nice to see you floating around. Hope all is well with you and the mister. :)

Hmmm, "foreward" instead of "forward" ...
does one detect a Freudian "foreplay" slip there? ;)
Very happy for you both :).

HG, I left you a comment....
But, I'll say this here, our growth comes from finding ways to knock holes in our own walls. It feels really fucking good. Not just good,
fucking good. :) Here, borrow my sledge hammer.

leave it to the sociology major to get regentrification from this poem....
and it usually doesn't work out so nicely, love....people who live there are forced out by high rent and property prices if there isn't enough low and middle income housing....hmmm....not where this was going at all....
it's a process, not crisp and new, but therein is the lesson as we talked about tonight...in that sparkly little crack we find as we throw that motherfucker against the wall and re-examine :)

I am a stone cold brick wall, and I see no one knocking it down... Great poem.

Urban renewal is always messy...
and painful for those
whose homes get bulldozed
but when the dust clears
the neighborhood is much improved
with parkland
and clean streets
everything crisp and new
under the sun...
