Yes, I agree. Too much rain-writing can be gloomy. When it's sunny though I feel pressure to run errands and do other things.

Original, I looooooove the rain.
The sun feels taunting sometimes when I'm trying to sort something out, and the rain gives me permission to be inside with my writing or movies or sleep. Of course, now it just rains when we are, say, moving stuff in the house! It does feel very protective, I agree.
