You have my sympathy. When my last one - which I don't remember - got me admitted to emergency, I was prescribed Phenytoin. That was a year ago and I haven't had a migraine since.

whamenator I am going to try the Chiropracter. Last year when I had them I went to an acupuncturist and it kinda worked. I was thinking it's barometric pressure that starts it

I never understood about migraines........
And then I had a roommate in college that got them regularly. She would be so miserable and so sick, and the medicine that helped her headaches also made her feel unwell.
I know this might sound like a stretch, but my chiropractor swears that many ailments can be cured by chiropractic adjustments. All nerves and impulses flow though one's spine, so if there is a subluxation (think of a bent water hose) blocking the flow, then the impulses do not flow as they should. One's Life Force (the spine) becomes blocked.
If there is a reputable chiropractor in your area...what have you got to lose?

The Loan-lady
I had one migraine a few months ago but it had been more than a decade since the previous one. If I knew the answer to your question I would bottle it and give it away to people. It could have been to do with hormones or maybe I used to be more stressed back then..
