Yes. Babs--all a matter of perspective!

I UNDERSTOOD THAT...
...with complete ease and can make the shift just as easily. I guess because I've always felt that death cannot be as bad as living. Hmmmmmm:)

Julia, I think the Eckankar people are all into lucid dreaming and
soul-travel. I have not explored that particular group or its teachings, beyond reading their posters, however.

Ciel--
great post and how right you are! I've often wondered how I might go about "conscious dreaming," a state I assume might bring more spiritual revelation to the human part of me.

Yes, with grief being a natural human emotion,
it's really hard to let go at "death".

Sunnybeach, I agree, Death is, for the being, a wonderful transformation
but it is important to keep in perspective that for the human, it is a different kind of reality, where what ends is more significant than what goes on to new experience.

It's nice someone's talking about past lives
because that's actually one of the things one of my friend and I always tried to "see". She "saw" my past life as a poor German paperboy in the early 1900s. I died real early because I was so poor and dirty, and had a bad life. I thought my friend was a cheap cowboy bar singer/prostitute with ample bosom. She wore this red, fluffy dress every night, and died of syphilis. I shall definitely write a story about it.

My current beliefs are that...
there is no death, just transformation.
I'm finding your blog very interesting and inspiring
