Thank You For Being A Gentleman...

...and I accept your apology.

I would agree that the problem we always seem to have in political debates is that one side becomes so overwhelmingly overrepresented that it takes a bulldozer to clean things up.  And then we overdo things in the opposite direction.

We've overdone the right-wing fundamentalist, get your act together schtick.  It was as much a cynical ploy by the powers that be as the progressive, bleeding-heart, give your money to all the people because it helps the economy crapola that sent the conservatives into a tailspin in the first place.  What Richard Nixon did to use the CIA to assist his re election campaign was wrong, but what the present group of criminals have done to accomplish similar ends would make RMN's criminal activity look like a fraternity prank.

Conservatives have long been fond of playing the game to the edge of the board, and so now that it is what progressives must do to make plain that enough is enough.  You boys either put your weapons back into your duffle bags and learn to hold the ORIGINAL US Constitution in reverence, both in spirit and in form, or we are going to take this entire discussion OFF THE BOARD.  In other words, we're done talking.

WE have some problems in this country.  Always have had.  But now we have problems that will threaten our very survival as a species, to say nothing about as a nation, and we have the usual nags on boths side with respect to what constitutes citizen-like behavior and what constitutes socially-acceptable conduct.

We demand that this nation conduct itself, always, in accord with principles that operate as follows:

  1. Protect and preserve the Constitution of the United States of America as an operating government document.

  2. Protect and provide for the public safety to such a degree that the first principle is never violated and the best interests are never compromised.

  3. Hold legally accountable any person, governmental entity or corporation that a simple majority of the people governed can claim to be operating out of accord with principles 1 or 2.

Toward this end, we demand that the following changes be made, immediately, to the existing social order so as to preserve that order, preserve these three operating principles of democratic government and to limit the occurence of social insurrection and violent protest against the existing social order.

 1.  All sovereign governments within the US must have at least three branches modelled after our Constitution.

 2. Judicial nominees are NEVER to be permitted to campaign or to enter into electoral politics at any time.  All sovereign governments are expected to publish and adhere to specific guidelines for the executive appointment of judicial nominees based on level of public service and meritorious commitment to the first three principles.

3. Freedom of the Press is to be restored through divestiture, at or below cost, of the holdings of the six companies now in possession of the broadcast, print and internet medias.  No government, no corporation and no individual is to be in possession of more than 1 broadcast, 1 print and 1 internet media enterprise within an established media marketplace.

4. At no time can a candidate, his campaign or an incumbent's party apparatus be permitted to know the status of any particular donor to his candidacy, re-election or political party affiliation as it relates to any contribution(s) made to further, or buttress, the electoral ambitions on the elected official.  Period.

5. No corporation is permitted to possess more tangible assets, or offensive materiel, than is possessed by the State or local government in which the corporation is licensed or presently substantially resides.

6. No corporation that wishes legal or judicial status within the US is permitted to possess offshore assets, or offensive materiel, without first becoming licensed as a resident by a governmental entity recognized by the US Congress.

7.  The US government is permitted to establish corporations, with and without sunset status, for the purpose of promoting competition within a market deemed legally to be a monopoly.

8.  The US government and its related bodies are permitted to conduct business or foreign policy of any kind ONLY with licensed government or intelligence operations and operatives.  The licensure process is to be overseen and final general approval given by the US Senate.  There are to be no unaccountable intelligence operations funded, operated or approved by any member of the US government or its licensed operatives.

9. Immediate and generous tax credits and stipends are to be given only to those corporations that retain licensure within the 50 States in direct proportion to the number of US citizens which they employ.

10.  All executive orders, legal actions, legislation, budgets, appointments and government operations enacted by an administration or government deemed to be operating outside of the first three principles are to be suspended pending the re-establishment of social and governmental order.  All such suspended entities will then be subject to legislative and judicial review.

11.  No sitting President will be permitted to continue to operate as a Chief Executive while under impeachment.  However, no elected President will be permitted to give testimony in any legal matter except before Congress or the Supreme Court.

12.  George W. Bush and all members of his administration must be placed under Congressional scrutiny up to and including impeachment for crimes against humanity, electoral fraud, lying to Congress and the American People on matters of national security, revealing the identity of a national security operative, subversion of the Constitution, failure to act faithfully to protect the lives of US citizens and the property of US citizens, and conspiracy to commit, and cover up, all of the above.

Look man, I should not have responeded to your post in the way I did.
For the life of me I can't understand how it is anyone can think the election was stolen in just one state. We have 49 more and john kerry won some of those. I don't hear you spouting your mouth off about how the democrats stole one here and there. How about Washington state? On the third count of the vote the democrat has gotten ahead and now the democrats want to quit counting! How abusurd is that? The democrats got creamed in the election. They lost seats in the House and Senate. They lost governorships and seats in other legislative bodies. We have a representative democracy here and the people are speaking as to what they want. It's not just in the Presidential arena it's in all areas of our government. I live in Texas and every statewide elected official is a Republican. This is what the people want. I am not stupid. I have a good education and a high-paying job. I put myself through college and worked in the surveying business from the ground up. I started as a rodman working in the Louisiana swamps. I am well read and pay attention to news, sports, weather and what have you. I raise my brother-in-law child becasue he refuses to work and do so. I am a good person and I expect others to be also. I just wanted to give a little insight into who you are debating this with. I should not have responded to your post in they way I did. That was wrong and I apologize. I will not back down from my stands on what I believe though. George Bush won this election by a pretty wide margin and it's time to give it up. The votes have been recounted and essentially nothing has changed. We don't count votes on exit polls. We count actual votes. The exit polls don't mean a thing. I look forward to commenting on more of your posts and I will be more civil in our future exchanges. Thanks for reading.

Perhaps You'd Like to Meet Someplace...

...to shut me up, eh?  I'll bet you're a real badass, aren't ya?

Your use of the word, "you," makes it clear that you don't know who the heck, "you," are.  "You" are an American, are you not?

Then start acting like one.

If you want to act like a Nazi, move to Germany.  If you want to act like a Chinese Communist, move to China.

America is FOR Americans, get it?  In this country we stand up for what is right, not necessarily for what is convenient for a bunch of bumbling thugs who've done NOTHING but spread misery and disaster around the globe since they've taken office.

And, for god's sake, go back to college.  Get a real degree.  Everything to the right of your left ear is pure hot air.

As for the eyeball, I could use a good ass-kicking.  It's been a while for me.  And in the unfortunate event that the tables should turn against you, well, perhaps you'll discover what it's like to have your ass kicked by someone with genuine self esteem, chicken man.

If these numbers hold true for Bush getting elected imagine

how bad they would have looked for clinton! I am a bit tired of you idiots trying to show how smart and intellectual you are when you don't know a fucking thing. john kerry lost this election and GEORGE BUSH won. He will be taking new oath of office in a few weeks. The democrats lost ground in the House, the Senate, and many other legislative bodies. Face it; liberalism is on it's way out and it's because of idiots like you. I am just sick and tired of dumb fuckers like you telling people like me that Kerry won the election. Just what are you going to do about it? Whine and cry the whole time? The only thing I believe in this deal is that people like you are so moronic and idiotic that you can't even use the brain God gave you for anything other than to cry and bitch and whine and moan. So just shut up about the whole deal!
