LOL, I wasn't suggesting you pray, heavens no that would be a stretch
I merely suggested herb tea. It's no wonder you have so much stress in your life.

Holygrail, thanks for identifying.
I checked out your member profile and we have the same taste in a number of areas.

I feel for you. This kind of thing happens to me too. I'd never suffered anything akin to true non-situational anxiety until this year.  It sure isn't pleasant.  Best of luck to you.

You're forgetting the first tenet of life (Warner Bro's cartoon edition)

1. Never look down.

and the second:

2. Keep flapping your arms as fast as you can!

Ask yourself if today you did your best, and did you hurt anyone unnecessarily? If that's "YES", (and accept no subconcsious characterizations or generalizations, please), then be content that you are one of the "good guys" and deserve the rest you need.

Tomorrow, make your list of things that scare or irk you and KILL a couple of 'em!! ("Things", not "People").

wow, and I thought I used to be a worry wort!
Have you tried drinking some herb tea before bed-time? Chamomile would be a good one to try. Worry and fear, no matter what time of day are not healthy and I pray you can overcome it.

Oh Cynthia...
..isn't it amazing the way things always seem so much worse in the wee hours of the morning. I have those moments too and no matter how I try to tell myself how everything becomes exacerbated in the middle of the night...my mind will not go along with it. There are some kind of fear chemicals that appear at those hours. I know exactly what you mean. On a happy note..congratulations on another grandchild on the way!! :)
